Morrison ‘blessed’ remark ‘seized’ on by Labor and the media

Sky News host Andrew Bolt says the “big takeout” from Wednesday night’s People’s Forum debate seemed to be Scott Morrison’s “blessed” comment rather than Anthony Albanese’s inability to remember his own border policies.

Mr Bolt said Labor and media left, particularly the ABC, decided to "seize" on Mr Morrison for saying he and his wife were “blessed” to not have had children with disabilities.

“I am so sick of people attacking others for how they supposedly seem, rather for what we all know they actually are,” Mr Bolt said.

“Does anyone who is sane seriously think that Morrison has no compassion for children with a disability? And has no parent ever said quietly, ’thank God our child is healthy?’"
