Labor believes people will be ‘confused’ by ‘any form of facts’

Sky News host Gary Hardgrave says the Labor Party doesn't even want to give people the "opportunity" to realise "that they don't actually understand what they're doing".

This came after Anthony Albanese's budget reply speech on Thursday.

"They believe that people will be confused by any form of facts - they keep facts out, you don't confuse people," Mr Hardgrave told Sky News host Paul Murray.

"In a budget reply speech, this is an opportunity for you to actually give a vision about what you want to do, put some numbers around it, and actually take a punt on being right and let the people judge you."
