Human remains found in SA park as walker makes startling discovery

A police investigation is underway as human remains have been found in a South Australian park.

Emergency services were called to Hale Conservation Park in Williamstown, 60km northeast of Adelaide, about 1.15pm Tuesday after a member of the public made the startling discovery.

“Police and emergency services are at a conservation park in Williamstown after human remains were found this afternoon,” a SA Police spokesperson said.

Officers are at the scene as they work to determine the circumstances surrounding the person’s death.

Police will remain at the site overnight with enquiries continuing in the morning.
