NSW Opposition Leader Chris Minns has firmly reassured that state Treasurer Matt Kean is not a Labor Party plant as he lashed the new Liberal deputy for having “a lot to answer for” to taxpayers.
“He’s not one of ours – I can promise you that,” Mr Minns told Sky News host Chris Smith.
“Matt Kean’s got a lot to answer for – he’s just brought down the biggest spending budget in New South Wales history.”
Mr Minns also said the evidence is clear Mr Kean and Premier Dominic Perrottet are not good economic managers.
“The New South Wales government has racked up $183 billion worth of gross debt which is the biggest figure the state’s seen,” he said.
