Federal budget doesn’t ‘turn around and boost’ the government’s chances of winning the election

Sky News host Paul Murray says the budget doesn’t “turn around and boost” the government’s chances of winning another term in power.

It comes as the federal budget is set to be handed down by the Treasurer, Josh Frydenberg, on Tuesday.

“Our politics demands, we demand more, bugger who pays for it, and the reality is, is that we’re going to have big problems coming out of what happens tomorrow night,” Mr Murray said.
