Andrews ‘doesn’t miss’ an opportunity to ‘have a go’ at Morrison government

The Australian’s Rachel Baxendale says Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has spent a lot more time talking about the “faults of the Morrison government” rather than what the state government is “up to”.

It comes after Mr Andrews told reporters on Tuesday that Victoria is meant to treat “every federal dollar” received by the Morrison government as “foreign aid”.

“Daniel Andrews just doesn’t miss an opportunity to have a go at the federal government,” Ms Baxendale told Sky News host Peta Credlin.

“I think we’ve spent a lot more time, even during state government question time, hearing about the faults of the Morrison government from the state government.

“(Rather) than actually talking about what the state government is up to down here at the moment.”
