Albanese needs to ‘clear up’ if Labor is involved in TikTok controversy

Labor leader Anthony Albanese has to clear up any confusion over whether his party was involved in a TikTok scheme, according to the former president of the Victorian Liberal Party Michael Kroger.

Mr Albanese said he was not aware that anyone in his party commissioned a marketing agency to pay Australian Tiktok users $300 if they made videos criticising Prime Minister Scott Morrison without the disclaimer required for political content.

Mr Kroger said if Labor should condemn these sorts of “dirty” tactics.

“Albanese needs to clear this up, this is the sort of dirty politics we don’t need in this country,” Mr Kroger said.
