Action on veteran suicide needs to ‘happen quickly’

NSW Liberal Senator Hollie Hughes says it’s time everyone steps up and “does better at looking after our veterans”, because “they’re the ones looking after us”.

This comes after the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide handed down its interim report which includes 13 recommendations.

“Action needs to happen and happen quickly,” Ms Hughes told Sky News host Chris Smith.
